40 cookie balls

Ingredients

1 can sweetened condensed milk (300 ml Canada, 14 oz US)

1/4 cup melted butter

1 1/2 cups dried coconut (fine or medium cut)

1 1/2 cups graham cracker crumbs, plus extra for rolling

1 tsp vanilla extract

1 1/2 cups chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. Step 1: Melt butter in a small saucepan or microwave-safe bowl. Stir in sweetened condensed milk and vanilla extract until smooth.
  2. Step 2: Add graham cracker crumbs, shredded coconut, and chocolate chips. Mix until well combined and evenly coated.
  3. Step 3: Cover the bowl and chill the mixture for about 1 hour, or until firm enough to shape.
  4. Step 4: Roll tablespoon-sized portions into 1¼-inch balls using your hands.
  5. Step 5: Roll each ball in extra graham cracker crumbs to coat the outside evenly.
  6. Step 6: Arrange on a parchment-lined tray and refrigerate until set. Serve chilled or straight from the fridge.

Notes

Use fine or medium shredded coconut for the best chewy texture.

If the mixture feels sticky, add more graham crumbs one tablespoon at a time until workable.

Store in an airtight container in the fridge for up to a week or freeze for up to 2 months.

Let thaw in the refrigerator before serving for perfect consistency.

This is a great no-bake recipe for kids to help with easy, safe, and fun to roll!
